Mill Creek Park sets Pumpkin Walk on Sunday night

PUMPKIN WALK AT TWILIGHT: Mill Creek MetroParks will hold its annual Pumpkin Walk at Twilight 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown.

Pumpkin-lined paths will take visitors through fall season scenes and colors. There will be various entertainment and children’s activities.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday, the public can carve family-friendly pumpkins to be displayed at the Pumpkin Walk. The carving area is located in the Service Building at Fellows Riverside Gardens, which may be chilly, so dress accordingly. Pumpkins and carving tools will be provided.

COFFEE AND CONVERSATION: Youngstown Councilwoman Anita Davis will hold a Coffee and Conversation 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Flambeau’s, 2308 Market St., Youngstown. Guest speakers will be fire Chief Barry Finley, who will discuss fire mitigation, and Water Commissioner Harry Johnson, who will discuss water quality.
