BOARDMAN TO HAVE COMMUNITY DAY: Boardman Township trustees have joined with the Southern Park Mall for the annual community day 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the mall parking area in front of the food court entrance.

The event will include the demolition of the Sears building. The public will have the opportunity to touch and see fire and police vehicles. Food will be available and The Ohio State University football game will be on the big screen and other activities.

HISTORY TO GO: The Mahoning Valley Historical Society is having its History to Go series, with the next event a Founders Day Mahoning River Walking Tour noon, 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. Sunday beginning and ending at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St., Youngstown.

CAR SHOW: Westside Tire and Service will hold the third annual charity car show to benefit It’s All About the Warrior Foundation 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Italian Market, 1109 Youngstown Warren Road, Niles. All makes and models are welcome.
