Southwoods Health announced Tuesday the expansion of its network into Trumbull County and the surrounding region.

Howland Specialty Care, 8740 E. Market St., Howland, opened Oct. 27. The facility features seven specialty services: cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery, orthopaedics, pain management, pediatric gastroenterology and spine.

“We believe everyone deserves access to high-quality care close to where they live and work. It’s more than a convenience — it’s a necessity,” said Ed Muransky, CEO of Southwoods Health. “Our commitment to Trumbull County ensures patients never have to choose between their health and their daily responsibilities. Expanding our network helps keep care local and patients healthier.”

Muransky said Southwoods looks to close gaps in health equity and deliver measurable improvements in patients’ overall health.

The Southwoods network includes more than 300 providers caring for patients throughout the Mahoning Valley.
