College interns in Mahoning and Trumbull counties are invited to explore the Valley’s job opportunities during Intern Day, 1 to 9 p.m. Aug. 4, at the Eastwood Event Centre and Eastwood Field in Niles.

The Youngstown / Warren Regional Chamber is hosting the free event.

The gathering will allow participants to network with fellow interns from Chamber-member companies, hear from local business leaders and speakers, and learn about the career paths and opportunities available in the Mahoning Valley.

Those attending will have the opportunity to have a professional headshot taken, receive lunch and a picnic dinner, and go on a behind-the-scenes tour of Eastwood Field, followed by a 7:05 p.m. Mahoning Valley Scrappers game.
