WARREN — A free workshop for contractors and people in the trades to learn about available jobs and state-funded projects in the region is scheduled for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at BRITE Energy Innovators, 125 W. Market St., Warren.

The workshop will provide information for contractors interested in home improvement and lead remediation services.

Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership recently received a grant and is seeking contractors to help with housing renovations and lead remediation projects. Businesses that wish to participate must become certified to be added to the official contractor pool. During the workshop, attendees will be guided through the certification process and share information on job opportunities that could benefit their businesses.
