JAC promotes, wants to expand into new markets
YOUNGSTOWN — JAC Management Group, the downtown-based facilities management company, and its sister company, JAC Live, a concert and event promoter, announced plans to further expand into markets across the U.S.
The growth, according to the company in a news release Monday, will be led by the promotions of Ken Bigley, founding member of both companies, from vice president to chief operating officer, and Jordan Ryan, executive director of JAC Management Group’s properties in Youngstown to vice president of JAC Management Group and JAC Live.
Bigley’s role as chief operating officer is “indicative of the companies’ ever-expanding footprint” across the U.S. in the theater / arena event promoting sector and the space / event format, the release states.
“His direction over the company’s operation has allowed for further business development while remaining steadfast in their focus on entertainment management and talent buying within the 2,000 to 10,000 seat range facilities,” the release states.
As vice president, Ryan, who has worked for JAC since he was a teen, will transfer his experience of building and event management to the companies’ presence within the venues they work with and allow them to transform new spaces into full-fledged concert venues, the release states.
JAC in 2022 and in 2023 put on more than 100 events each year. Two of the events done by JAC Live are Y-Live downtown and the grandstand entertainment at the Canfield Fair.
