Nominees sought for manufacturing award award
WARREN — The Youngstown / Warren Regional Chamber and MAGNET are partnering again this year to recognize a manufacturer in the Mahoning Valley with the chamber’s seventh annual Manufacturing in Excellence Award.
Nominations are being accepted through Oct. 4 for the award that focuses on a company’s longevity in business, growth, product or workforce innovation and achievement.
Nominated manufacturers must be located in Columbiana, Mahoning or Trumbull counties and be a member of the chamber. Candidates are encouraged to self-nominate.
The award will be presented Nov. 2 at the chamber’s Economic Forecast breakfast at Waypoint 4180 in Canfield.
Nominations can be completed and submitted at regionalchamber.com, under Economic Development, Excellence in Manufacturing Awards.
Past recipients were Boardman Molded Products, Haltec Corp., Quality Switch, Panelmatic Building Solutions, Commercial Metal Forming and Schaefer Equipment, a division of Wabtec Corporation.
