Chamber welcomes new board members
YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown / Warren Regional Chamber has brought on 10 new members to its board of directors, named officers for 2023 and reappointed several members to new terms.
New board members are:
• Anthony Cafaro, Jr., co-president, Cafaro Co.;
• Nikki Carter, chief strategy officer, Mercy Health;
• Jim Dascenzo, principal, Hill Barth & King;
• Chuck George, CEO, HAPCO;
• Julie Larson, CEO, Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors;
• Kareem Maine, plant director, Ultium Cells;
• Derek Penn, board member, Charles Schwab;
• Alexa Sweeney-Blackann, consultant, #1 Cochran;
• Don Thomas, broker, Platz Realty; and
• Josh Toot, executive vice president / market president, Premier Bank
The board’s officers for 2023 are:
• Chairman — Jim Gasior, senior executive vice president and corporate development officer, Farmers National Banc Corp.;
• Immediate Past Chairman — Michael Schrock, senior vice president and human resource manager, Huntington National Bank;
• First vice chair — Matt Blair, attorney and partner, Blair & Latell Co., LPA. Blair was also reappointed to a new term;
• Vice chairs — Dr. Ron Dwinnells, CEO, ONE Health Ohio; Scott Fleming, co-president, Aim Transportation Solutions; Jackie Stewart, director, External Affairs, Encino Energy; and Shelley Taylor, owner and president, Paige & Byrnes Insurance Agency, Inc.; and
• Treasurer: Eric Shuster, president, Vallourec
Directors reappointed to new terms include:
• Rob Berk, president, Berk Enterprises, Inc.;
• Paul Hammond, general manager, Lordstown Distribution Center, The Anderson-Dubose Company; and
• Jeanne Mosure, vice president public affairs / regional director of northeast Ohio, ms consultants, inc.
