Revenue up $4.4M for Avalon

WARREN — Avalon Holdings Corp. reported net operating revenue in the third quarter of $25.7 million, up from $21.3 million in the third quarter of 2021.

The company recorded net income attributable to common shareholders of $1.2 million in the third quarter of 2022 compared to $1 million in the third quarter last year. The basic net income per share for common shareholders was 30 cents, up from 25 cents year-over-year.

For the first three quarters, net operating revenue was $59.5 million, an increase from $52.8 million for the first nine months of 2021.

Avalon Holdings Corp. provides waste management services to industrial, commercial, municipal and governmental customers in the Northeast and Midwest U.S. markets, captive landfill management services and saltwater injection well operations.

The company also owns Avalon Resorts and Clubs Inc., which includes a hotel and its associated resort amenities, four golf courses and related country clubs and a multipurpose recreation center.
