Aim expands used truck department
WARREN — Girard-based Aim Transportation Solutions, the largest privately owned truck leasing company in the U.S., is expanding its used truck department, the company announced.
The move, being done to keep pace with demand, will have the company purchase equipment from outside sources and recondition it for sale. Until now, the company resold reconditioned vehicles coming off lease from its own rental fleet.
Eric Samp, Aim’s director of used trucks, called the move a “huge opportunity.”
“The equipment that we do purchase externally will be from known sources we’ve worked with in the past,” Samp said.
