Dominion gas rates decline over past month
WARREN — January natural-gas rates for Dominion Energy Ohio’s standard choice and standard service offers are $2.61 per thousand cubic feet (Mcf), the company announced.
The rates are down 42 cents per Mcf from December, but are 23 cents higher than those in January 2020.
Under the new rate, the average January 2021 residential bills is projected to be $81.79.
Dominion, is an American power and energy company headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, that supplies electricity in parts of Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina and supplies natural gas to parts of Utah, West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
