Average gas prices increase by 3 cents in northeast Ohio
WARREN — The average price for gasoline across northeast Ohio is 3 cents higher this week at $2.19 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.
In the Warren-Youngstown area, the average per gallon price is $2.14 and in Niles, $2.15.
The average price this week last year in the region was $2.49 per gallon.
The national average sits at $2.31 per gallon, the highest it has been in 10 months. It’s an increase of 6 cents from last week and 16 cents more than one month ago, but still cheaper than last year by 27 cents, according to AAA.
