YOUNGSTOWN — Mercy Health Youngstown announced Martin Tursky has been named chief operating officer and Michelle Crawford has been named chief financial officer for the Youngstown market.

Tursky, a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, began in the health care field in 1998 at Aultman Hospital, Canton, where he served in a variety of leadership roles. Most recently, he was CEO of McLaren Health Care in central Michigan.

Crawford has served the Youngstown ministry for 23 years, most recently as the CFO for St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital. Prior to joining Mercy Health, Crawford served as a senior auditor at Ernst and Young.

Both started in the new positions Oct. 26.

Mercy Health Youngstown, part of Bon Secours Mercy Health, operates several health care facilities in the Mahoning Valley, including St. Joseph Warren Hospital, St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital and St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
