WARREN — Revenue at Ohio’s four casinos surpassed $74.7 million in October, a bit of a rebound for the month after two consecutive months of declines, according to the Ohio Casino Control Commission.

The latest report from the commission shows revenue last month rose 4 percent from September, which posted $71.8 million. October’s mark also eclipsed by nearly 10 percent revenue in October 2019, when the casinos took in $68.1 million.

Table games last month generated $22.3 million in revenue and slot revenue was $52.4 million compared to $21 million and $50.7 million in September, increases of 6.1 percent and 3.2 percent.

In October 2019, table games generated $21.3 million and slots, $46.7 million, according to the commission.

The casinos notched an all-time revenue high of $86 million in July, when they reopened following Ohio’s discontinued stay-at-home order during the early part of the viral pandemic. After the high-water mark, revenue fell to $77.3 million and $71.8 million in August and September before bouncing back some last month.

The casinos in Ohio are Jack Cleveland Casino, Jack Cincinnati Casino, Hollywood Casino Toledo and Hollywood Casino Columbus.
