YBI sets virtual pitch competition

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown Business Incubator will hold a virtual pitch competition for startups and small businesses this year instead of its “YBI Shark Tank” event due to the viral outbreak.

To enter, make a short, but creative video pitching the company, and fill out an application. The entrepreneur with the most votes when the contest closes will win $5,000. The event is sponsored by Medical Mutual and Vince and Phyllis Bacon.

The deadline to submit is 11:59 p.m. Tuesday. Voting begins Oct. 29 and closes at 11:59 p.m. Nov. 10.

Entrepreneurs can submit applications and can learn more at https://ybi.org/virtualpitch/.
