Energy secretary cancels Youngstown visit
YOUNGSTOWN — U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette canceled his visit Friday to Youngstown last minute after two members of his security detail tested positive for COVID-19.
Brouillette tested negative and did not have symptoms, but decided to cancel due to an abundance of caution, according to the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber, which was involved with planning the stop.
He was due at Youngstown State University to participate in a roundtable on the future of energy jobs in the region.
