CIC signs development deal
YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Community Improvement Corporation has approved a new 12-month, $23,000 contract with the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber for business attraction and retention in the county.
The agreement, in part, calls for the chamber to assist businesses wishing to locate in Mahoning County and conduct a nationwide marketing campaign to attract new business. The agreement also includes help for existing businesses.
The CIC is jointly operated by the Western Reserve Port Authority and Mahoning County commissioners.
Trumbull County commissioners last month approved a similar agreement with the chamber.
