Northeast Ohio gas prices increase 12 cents per gallon in week

WARREN — The average price for gasoline across Northeast Ohio is 12 cents higher this week at $2.62 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s gas price report.
Motorists, however, in the Warren-Youngstown area may pay less. Here, the average is $2.59 and in Niles, the average is $2.63 per gallon.
Average price for the region this time last year was $2.70 per gallon.
The national average gas price is $2.63, which is 2 cents less than last week and 26 cents cheaper than last year, but 6 cents more expensive than last month.
