WHAT: Weathersfield Board of Eductaion meeting Oct. 14
PRESENT: Cheryl Basista, Mark Bodo, Sam Caputo, Josh Garris and Matt Glidewell
The board:
* Accepted a donation of $1,500 from D. Todd Murdock to the Seaborn Elementary School teachers in memory of her husband, Fred McCandless, who was a former board of education member.
* Accepted the retirement of Brenda Buckner as a cafeteria worker effective Jan. 31, 2027 with 26 years in the school district.
* Accepted the resignations of Jessica Bacha and Kelley Dempsey, bus drivers.
* Hired Sue Shaffer and Victoria Cherol as cafeteria workers.
