Library sets public feedback sessions

By Staff report 2 min read

YOUNGSTOWN – The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County is beginning the community feedback portion of its 2027-2031 Strategic Planning process in order to dig deep into what makes the PLYMC so special.

Library trustees and leadership will be assessing where improvements can be made on our programs and services, how to better meet the needs of our patrons, and most importantly, how the PLYMC can continue to be a vital part of the Mahoning County public service infrastructure over the next five years.

These discussions will give the public an opportunity to share honest feedback – positive and negative – about our programs, services, facilities, operating hours and other concerns. The library can improve and adapt only by listening fully to the people it serves.

Registration is suggested, but not required. Refreshments will be served at all sessions.
