By Staff report 1 min read
AP Comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham, shown here at the dedication of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2017, will play Packard Music Hall in 2027.

Comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham returns to the Mahoning Valley for an April 23, 2027, concert at Packard Music Hall as part of his Inappropriate Contact tour.

Dunham's Spark of Insanity tour earned him a spot in the "Guinness Book of World Records for the most tickets sold for a stand-up comedy tour. He was recognized for three consecutive years by Billboard magazine for the top-selling comedy tour and has more than a billion online views.

His numerous comedy specials include Jeff Dunham’s Very Special Christmas Special," which became Comedy Central’s highest-rated program of all time.

Dunham performed regularly at the Funny Farm Comedy Club in the 1990s when it was located at the Holiday Inn Metroplex in Liberty. His first time there was in 1992 on the same night the final episode of "Cheers" aired. He still sold out both performances.

As his career grew, so did the local venues he played, including selling out the Covelli Centre and performing at Eastwood Field in 2021.

Tickets for the 8 p.m. show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Packard box office and through Ticketmaster. An online-only presale runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday with the password: LAUGH.
