YOUNGSTOWN — A woman, 55, was killed in a two-vehicle crash at 5:51 p.m. Friday crash at the intersection of Southern and Midlothian boulevards on Youngstown’s South Side, according to a Youngstown Police press release.

Officers were called to a traffic accident and found two vehicles, one of which was turned over on its roof, the late-Saturday release states.

The driver of that vehicle was pronounced deceased by paramedics at the scene, the release states. The driver of the other vehicle was unharmed. The crash remains under investigation by the Youngstown Police Department Accident Investigation Unit along with the Mahoning County Coroner’s Office, the release states.
