Weathersfield man involved in crash faces charges

NILES — A Weathersfield man involved in a crash that sent an adult and two juveniles to the hospital in late June will have his case bound over to a county grand jury. According to a Facebook post from the Niles Police Department, Samuel Sipes, 24, was taken into custody by the department’s detective bureau in Genevaon several charges of aggravated vehicular assault, two counts of endangering children and OVI — all felonies.
