Trumbull water board discusses $3.2M maintenance plan

VIENNA — A proposed $3.2 million maintenance plan to bring the county’s seven water tanks up to code cannot be proposed to the Trumbull County Commissioners until a quorum is present. The 12-person Water Advisory Panel hosted a recent meeting at the Trumbull County Sanitary Engineer’s Office. McDONALD — Village council is seeking applicants to fill an opening on village council as Councilman Don Smith will be moving from the village after his final meeting July 15. Any resident interested in filling the remainder of Smith’s term can submit a letter of interest to the municipal building by Friday. Council will review the applicants at the July 15 meeting. Smith served as chairman of the finance and levy committees.
