Public media companies agree to merge to strengthen coverage

Public Broadcasting Systems Western Reserve and Ideastream Public Media have signed an agreement to merge to strengthen public media across northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania, the companies announced this week. The companies said they plan to continue, without interruption, the programming, educational services, cultural content, local news coverage and community service provided across the stations. Hubbard welcomes new landmarks to school campus

Staff report The Hubbard Exempted Village School District recently welcomed district leaders and community members to recognize donors whose funding was used to help beautify the Hubbard campus. District officials have welcomed several new landmarks to campus, including two large “H” structures and a 10.5-foot hand-carved wooden eagle. LIBERTY — A Youngstown man has been charged after a woman accused him of throwing her off a porch after a verbal argument Monday.
