Man shot to death in ‘targeted shooting’ on South Side

YOUNGSTOWN — City police and ambulance crews were on the scene of a fatal, targeted shooting Wednesday afternoon near a Glenwood Avenue auto dealership. A Youngstown police news release states that a man, 20, was killed in a 3:11 p.m. incident at Glenwood and Indianola avenues on the South Side. YOUNGSTOWN — The financially troubled company that provides steam heat for most of downtown Youngstown is returning two of its three rented boilers until October to cut expenses and agreed to a $750,000 settlement with Enbridge Gas Co., to be paid in $40,000 monthly installments, for late bills.
