Hola Fest! returns to Wean Park on Saturday.
It is a free, family-friendly event celebrating culture and community. Filled with lots of children's activities, music, food, fashion, art and dance representing the countries of Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, México, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Perú.
Each country will proudly display authentic items and musical instruments from their native land in their booths. Attendees can visit each "village" and learn about different cultures.
The festival starts at noon Saturday with a parade on Front Street and continues until 9 p.m.
A pageant is scheduled on the Front Street stage at 1:15 p.m., followed by Mariana Bishara at 2 p.m., dance instruction at 2:30 p.m., Adrian Labra at 3:30 p.m. and Samba da Cidade at 5:15 p.m.
Main stage entertainment includes Conjunto Riquena at 4:15 p.m., Romero Norteno at 6 p.m. and Karibe Son at 7:30 p.m.
Food vendors serving delicacies from the different countries will be on site.
