Irish fest moves to St. Luke in Boardman

The Mahoning Valley Irish Festival has a new home for its fifth edition.
This year's festival takes place at St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, and will feature two entertainment stages.
On Saturday, the Blarney Stage will feature Burke School of Irish Dance at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., Callahan & O'Connor at noon, Achill Crossing at 2:30 p.m. and The Fiddle Chiques at 5 p.m. Playing the Thunder Stage will be Rich Patrick Trio at noon, Bealtaine at 2 p.m., Ballinloch at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. and Burke School of Dance at 6 p.m.
The Sunday schedule presents Hired Hands at 11:30 a.m., Burke dancers at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m., Eamonn Knuff at 1 p.m. and County Mayo at 3 p.m. on the Blarney Stage and The Irish Brigadiers at noon, bagpipers at 2 p.m., Seamus at 2:30 and 4 p.m. and Burke dancers at 3:30 p.m. on the Thunder Stage.
Other attractions include Irish food, a vendor village and a play area for children.
The festival runs 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday with a mass at 10 a.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 with children ages 12 and younger admitted free.
