Van Nationals rolling into Trumbull County Fairgrounds

Trumbull County Fairgrounds in Bazetta will be the site for the 53rd Van Nationals.

Hosted by the Northeast Ohio Van Congress, the Van Nationals will be making its fourth appearance at the fairgrounds, previously coming there in 1979, 1983 and 2007.

Van gatherings here aren’t just about aesthetics; they’re wrapped into the broader automotive and fair culture, creating a welcoming space for van lovers to connect, camp and celebrate their shared passion.

All vans are welcome, from bone stock cargo vans to fully customized show vans. Attendees can pack their own food and libations or support the onsite food and beverage vendors.

Early camping will be available starting Monday, and the opening ceremony begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday. There will be live music, DJs, vendors, adult and kids games, van games, a van show, a van light and bright show and a huge van convoy around Mosquito Lake.

The van show will be open and free to the public on July 31 on the east side of the fairgrounds, 899 Everett Hull Road, from 10:30 a.m. until early afternoon, weather permitting. Signs will be in place to direct people where to park.

The van convoy will exit the fairgrounds at 11 a.m. Aug. 1. It will head north along the west side of Mosquito Lake, crossing over the causeway, heading south on state Route 46 past the Turkey Run Trail staging area and around the southern dam of the lake back to the fairgrounds. Viewing the parade of vans can be done by boat as they cross the causeway, at Main Street / Youngstown Kingsville Road NE (between the intersection with Mecca Street North and McCleary Jacoby Road) or at the Mecca circle east of the causeway.

The cost of entry to the event for all five days and four nights is $85 cash or paypal at the gate for one van and two people. Paid attendees can come and go as they please, and most attendees camp at the fairgrounds and stay overnight. For more information, go to www.2026VanNationals.com.

Starting at $3.85/week.
