Historical society offers archaeology camp
The Trumbull County Historical Society will offer an Archaeology Summer Camp for children ages 8 to 14.
Campers will work alongside real archaeologists to identify artifacts, use excavation tools and interpret clues left behind by the people who lived here long ago. The camp blends discovery, teamwork and outdoor adventure at a location where history actually happened.
The camp runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 8 to 10 at Center Brook Manor, 8745 Painesville Warren State Road, North Bloomfield. The cost is $80 and includes lunch and snacks daily. To register or for more information, go to trumbullcountyhistory.org or call 330-394-4653.

It starts at 5:30 p.m. June 22 at JCC, 505 Gypsy Lane, and includes dinner. Admission is free, but registration is required by Friday at jccyoungstown.org/newmanlevyseries.
