Former Dire Straits’ players come to Robins
A former member of Dire Straits and musicians who toured with the group will play the Robins Theatre on Aug. 13 as Dire Straits Legacy.
The band includes Alan Clark, who was keyboard player for the band from 1980 until it disbanded in 1995, as well as Mel Collins, who played saxophone on the band’s 1982-83 tour, and Phil Palmer, rhythm guitar, and Danny Cummings, percussion, who both toured with the band in the early ’90s.
Tickets start at $39 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday.
