Inspiring Minds students exhibit art at library
The artwork of students who are part of Inspiring Minds’ Youngstown Scholars program is on display at the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County’s Michael Kusalaba Library.
For the past 10 years, Inspiring Minds Youngstown has been providing after-school and summer enrichment programming to hundreds of Youngstown youth annually, focusing on 5 areas of pact — education, college and career readiness, health and wellness, exposure to new opportunities and personal development.
Featured artists include Malivia Blackmon-Davis, Erin Eiland, Kai Green-Richmond, CJ Hall, Journee Hardaway, Kylie-Ann Johnson, Justin Lampley, Josiah Moss, Delilah Perez, Qahirah Saleem, Oliviana Standard, Myah Starkey, Suri Stephens, Londyn Stubbs and Parris Stubbs.
The work will be on display through February for Black History Month at the library, 2815 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown.
An artist reception is scheduled 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free.
