Hopewell seeks ‘Silent Sky’ actors
YOUNGSTOWN — Auditions are scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m Jan. 15 and 1 to 5 p.m. Jan. 17 for the play “Silent Sky” at Hopewell Theatre, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown.
Lauren Gunderson’s play is based on the true story of 19th-century astronomer Henrietta Leavitt and explores a woman’s place in society during a time of immense scientific and heart-bound discoveries. Cast requirements are four women and one man, and the director is Traci Manning.
