Art on Park goes monochrome

The 6th Black and White on Park exhibition opens Friday at downtown Warren’s Art on Park.

The non-juried show curated by Dovey Wuvey is open to works in black, white and greyscale. This year it features works in a variety of mediums, including fiber arts, collage, photography, printmaking and three-dimensional works.

Participating artists include Jeffrey Puccini, Kat Jackson, Rachel E. Hathhorn, Kathryn Infante, April Mohn, Apryle Elizabeth, Lainey, Rebecca Bender, Jessica Mackey, Kristina Rule, Rebecca Nan, Joy Cotton, Samuel VanHorn, Jersee Hogue, Beth Carson, Carmen Denno, Jumari Lyons, Ani Mastrey, Julie Pantelas, Kayla R. Latimer, Seth Robertson, Amber Howard, Meghan E. Howard, Omi Anah Black, Sam Howard and Diane Beatty.

An opening reception is planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Art on Park, 180 N. Park Ave. Admission is free, and the evening will include music by John Hardin on didgeridoo and effects. Hardin is based in Redway, California, and currently is on tour.

Many of the works on display will be available for purchase with the artist receiving 100% of the purchase price.
