Dana Chorale plans ‘Illuminating’ spring concert

The Dana School of Music presents the Dana Spring Choral Concert at St. Columba Cathedral.
Titled “Illuminating Harmony in Light and Unity,” the concert will feature the Dana Chorale, directed by Hae-Jong Lee and accompanied by DeEun Choi, performing a program that spans various cultures and languages.
The concert will be split into five sections, each with its own theme: “Eternal Light,” “Dreams and Serenity,” “Folk Impressions,” “Global Voices,” and “Spiritual Journeys.” Musical selections include Lauridsen’s “Lux Aeterna,” “I Dream a World” by Andre J. Thomas and “Let There Be Peace on Earth,” arranged by Jay Althouse.
The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the church, 154 W. Wood St., Youngstown, and admission is free.
