Gallery features Frishman exhibit

A reception is scheduled from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today for an exhibition by Caryn Frishman at the Thomases Family Endowment of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation Art Gallery at the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown, 505 Gypsy Lane.

Those in attendance will be invited to participate in the painting of a five-foot dove. Frishman describes herself as “a proud Jewish artist” based in south Florida with a bright, cheery and inspirational style.

Her work will be on display through Sept. 30.
