Youngstown Press Club to feature sportswriter
The Youngstown Press Club will host a breakfast program with sportswriter Joe Scalzo at 8 a.m. June 20 at Collections Cafe inside the Butler Institute of American Art, 524 Wick Ave., Youngstown.
Scalzo previously worked for the Youngstown Vindicator and Canton Repository and currently writes for Crain’s Cleveland Business. He will speak on “The Lighter Side of Sports Reporting.”
The breakfast and program is $25 for press club members and $35 for nonmembers. The deadline to register is June 14 at youngstownpressclub.com.
