This year’s Summer Festival of the Arts will be July 27 and 28 at downtown Youngstown’s Wean Park.

The annual event includes a juried artists market, live entertainment, children’s activities information booths for arts and service organizations and food vendors.

According to event organizer Katie Merrill, “We are thrilled to once again host the Summer Festival of the Arts in Wean Park. This event showcases the incredible talent of artists from across the region and provides an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the arts.”

Artists are invited to apply for participation in this year’s festival. Applications are now being accepted through The Cultural Alliance website at culturalalliance.com.

The market is open to painters, sculptors, photographers, jewelry makers, mixed-media creators and other fine artists.
