Beach Boys catch a wave to Youngstown

The Beach Boys will be outdoors for a July 2 show at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre.

The band has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, and Rolling Stone magazine ranked the Beach Boys’ “Pet Sounds” at No. 2 on its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Founding members Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, who started with the group in 1965, are joined in the touring band by Tim Bonhomme, Christian Love, Brian Eichenberger, Randy Leago, Keith Hubacher, John Wedemeyer and Jon Bolton.
