The Youngstown Model Railroad Association will have its 2023 open house over four weekends and two months.

Both O scale and the smaller HO scale layouts will be on display. A steel mill complex is being completed for the HO layout along with upgrades to lighting and buildings, while the O scale is undergoing a major renovation with the locomotive roundhouse being redone and multiple scenery upgrades.

Open houses are scheduled from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Nov. 11 and 12 and Dec. 2, 3, 9 and 10 at 751 N. 4 Mile Run Road, Austintown. Admission is $5 for adults with children ages 11 and younger admitted free.
