Opera Western Reserve announced several grants it’s received for its upcoming production of “Carmen.”

Grants include $2,500 from the Arnett Family Fund, $2,500 from the Kennedy Family Fund (both administered by the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley), $2,500 from the Ruth Beecher Charitable Trust and $2,000 from the Frances Schermer Charitable Trust.

“Carmen” will be staged Nov. 17 at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown.
