The Jewish Community Center of Youngstown School of Theatre will offer a basics of theater workshop starting Sept. 14 at JCC, 505 Gypsy Lane.

The introductory level class for students ages 10 to 17 will cover such skills as building stage presence, finding and performing monologues and preparing for auditions.

The class will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Oct. 26. The cost is $75 for JCC members and $100 for nonmembers, and the deadline for registration is Sept. 9 at jccyoungstown.org.
