Evans opens Trumbull Town Hall series
Linda Evans will open the 2021-22 Trumbull Town Hall lecture series at Packard Music Hall.
Evans started acting as a teenager, first appearing in guest roles on such shows as “The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet” and “Bachelor Father” in the early 1960s. In 1965 she had a prominent role in the film “Beach Blanket Bingo” and was cast as Audra Barkley on “The Big Valley,” which ran for four seasons.
For her work as Krystle Carrington on the night-time soap opera “Dynasty,” Evans won five People’s Choice Awards as favorite actress in a drama. She also received five Golden Globe nominations and an Emmy nomination for her work
Evans also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and is the author of the memoir / cookbook “Recipes for Life: My Memories.”
The program starts at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Packard, 1703 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren.
Other speakers for the 44th Trumbull Town Hall season include political humorist Jimmy Tingle, who was a regular contributor on “60 Minutes II” and MSNBC, on Nov. 3; Caroline Winterer, a historian and author who will speak on “The Remarkable Genius of Benjamin Franklin,” on March 16, 2022; and Steve Hartman, a CBS News correspondent who does the network’s “On the Road” segments, on April 20, 2022.
Individual tickets for Evans’ lecture are $35. Season tickets good for admission to all four lectures are $80. Tickets are available at the Packard box office and through Ticketmaster.
