History program looks at Valley’s baseball legacy
“Baseball in the Mahoning Valley” is the topic of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society’s next Bites and Bits of History online video presentation
The program by Vince Guerrieri will explore local minor league franchises and stories about players and nonplayers tied to the national pastime.
Guerrieri is a Youngstown native and award-winning journalist whose work has been published by Politico, Ohio magazine, Smithsonian.com and Jalopnik. He’s written two books on Ohio sports and contributed to two anthologies.
The program will be available starting at noon June 17 on the MVHS YouTube Channel.
