Alabama, Brooks & Dunn announce 2021 tours

A couple of iconic country acts have area shows going on sale this week.

Alabama is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a tour that plays Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena 7 p.m. Sept. 25.

The band had 21 consecutive singles to the Billboard country chart and sold more than 73 million albums.

Tickets will go on sale 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster.

And Brooks & Dunn will hit the road for the first time in a decade on its Reboot tour, which plays Blossom Music Center 7 p.m. Sept. 17.

Travis Tritt and Elvie Shane will open for the duo that has sold more albums than any duo in country music history.

Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday through Live Nation.

Other shows on sale this week include:

• Comedian-ventiloquist Jeff Dunham performs 7 p.m. Aug. 19 at Eastwood Field in Niles. Tickets range from $59 to $129 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Scrappers box office and at indigotix.com.

• Three shows go on sale Friday for the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre: Train, 8 p.m. Aug. 25, $42.50-$99.50; All-Star Legends of Hip Hop with Juvenile, Mystikal, Scarface, Twista and Trina, 7 p.m. Sept. 18, $58-$102; Foreigner accompanied by a rock orchestra, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12, $37.50-$125. Train and Foreigner go on sale at 10 a.m. at the Covelli Centre’s Southwoods Health box office and through Ticketmaster. Tickets for the hip hop show go on sale at noon Friday through the same outlets.

• Five for Fighting, accompanied by a string quartet, will perform 8 p.m. Sept. 23 at Warren’s Robins Theatre. Tickets are $45 and $35 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Robins Theatre box office and at www.robinstheatre.com.

• The Mavericks will play Packard Music Hall at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 18. Tickets range from $32.75 to $78 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Packard box office and through Ticketmaster.

• Trippie Redd will be joined by iann dior and SoFaygo for a 7 p.m. Sept. 1 concert at Blossom Music Center. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday through Live Nation.

• Country singer Brett Eldredge will perform 7:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at UPMC Events Center on his Good Day tour. Morgan Evans opens both shows. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday through Live Nation for Nautica and the same time through Ticketmaster for UPMC.

• Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday for Rod Wave’s SoulFly tour 8 p.m. Sept. 24 at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica (though Live Nation) and 7 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Roxian Theatre (through Ticketmaster).

• Coheed and Cambria, The Used and Meet Me @ the Altar will play Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica 6:30 p.m. Sept. 12. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Live Nation.

• Three shows go on sale Friday through AXS for Stage AE: Faith No More, 7 p.m. Sept. 21; Angels & Airwaves, Bad Suns, 7 p.m. Oct. 22; Marina, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 19.

• Two shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster for MGM Northfield Park: Queensryche, 8 p.m. Sept. 16; Paul Anka, 8 p.m. Oct. 29.

• Four shows have been added to the House of Blues calendar: Andrew McMahon, Charli Adams, Zac Clark, 7 p.m. Oct. 23; Ledisi, Kenyon Dixon, 7 p.m. Nov. 9; Gaelic Storm, 7 p.m. Feb. 26; Kaleo, 7 p.m. April 11. Gaelic Storm goes on sale 11 a.m. today through Live Nation. The rest go on sale 10 a.m. Friday.

• Andrew McMahon also will the Roxian Theatre at 7 p.m. Nov. 5. It goes on sale 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster.

• Bryce Vine brings his I Miss You a Little tour to the Agora Theatre 8 p.m. Aug. 11. Tickets are $37.50 and $29.50 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday through AXS.
