MVHS announces officers, board staff

Mahoning Valley Historical Society selected its officers and board of directors for its 2020-21 fiscal year.

Ten directors were elected by the society’s members at its annual meeting in June. The board voted on officers at its July 21 meeting.

This year’s officers are Scott M. Zoldan, president; Ellen J. Tressel, first vice president; Frank Rulli, second vice president; Carole Weimer, secretary; Henrietta S. Williams, assistant secretary; Terrence F. Cloonan, treasurer; and Scott R. Schulick, assistant treasurer.

Board members are Richard A. Abrams, Stacey L. Adger, George D. Beelen, Julius T. Bennett, Elayne M.S. Bozick, Jerry Bryan, Donna Buzulencia, James B. Callen, Jeff Cianciola, Janice Elias, Suzanne Fleming, Rebecca L. Keck, Lynn Kirkwood, Michael McBride, Paul J. McFadden, Keith Miller, Linda Lucarell Miller, Alan Mirkin, Paul Ricciuti, Stephanie Rosselli, J. David Sabine, Rick Shale, Katherine Kane Shipka, Vincent A. Shivers, Judith R. Solomon, Norma Stefanik, David Stillwagon, Carole Weimer and Janet Yaniglos.

MVHS is celebrating its 145th year, serving the community by collecting, preserving and teaching the history of the people of the Mahoning Valley. It operates Tyler History Center and the Archives Resource Center at 325 W. Federal St., Youngstown, as well as the Arms Family Museum and the Business & Media Archives of the Mahoning Valley at 648 Wick Ave., Youngstown.
