Irene Catherine Kraynak Sinkovich was born Oct. 22, 1923, in Youngstown. She was the second daughter of Frank and Veronica Jessico Kraynak.
Irene lived her entire life in this area. She was a 1942 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School.
In her younger years she worked as a secretary for area businesses. At age 51 she returned to work at Humeás Carriage House where she worked until her retirement.
Irene married Joseph M. "Doc" Sinkovich on July 31, 1948. From that union they had three daughters. Karen (Ken) Perry of Liberty, Darlene Millosin, with whom she resides in Austintown, and Joanne (Kevin) Smotrilla of Austintown. She also has two granddaughters.
She celebrated with a small private party at her home.
