The family of Dominic and Georgette Peters of Poland celebrated the couple's 50th anniversary April 28, 2023.
Dominic, the son of Dominic and Stella Peters of Campbell, and the former Georgette Mesaros, daughter of Joseph and Helen Mesaros of Austintown, were united in marriage in an April 28, 1973, ceremony.
Dominic worked as a tool-and-die maker at Delphi Packard Electric for 34 years, and enjoys restoring classic automobiles.
Georgette worked at the Blood and Cancer center for 10 years and Mercy Health for 15 years as an educator / trainer and facilitator of the School at Work Program.
Dominic and Georgette have three children, Jennifer (Gary) Coleman, Christine (Guy) Winzenried and Dr. Dominic (Lisa) Peters, and three grandchildren.
They enjoy spending time with their grandchildren, friends and neighbors in addition to pontoon rides at Lake Milton and vacationing with family and friends in Florida. Throughout their 50 years of marriage, they have enjoyed many concerts, plays, and Pittsburgh Steelers games together.
They are members of St. Paul the Apostle Parish in New Middletown and St. Williams Parish in Naples, Fla.
