Jim and Helen Mauch of Austintown will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on May 3, 2023.
Jim Mauch and the former Helen "Eileen" Casey were married May 3, 1963, at Woodland Avenue Lutheran Church in Youngstown.
The couple raised three sons, Ronald, Edward (deceased) and Thomas. They also have three grandsons and one granddaughter.
Eileen retired after working 25 years at Hills Department Store in the Austintown Plaza.
Jim started out teaching high school math and coaching athletics. He then switched to being a computer programmer / systems analyst at IBM in Kingston, N.Y., and then at Thomas Steel Strip in Warren.
Jim and Eileen have been longtime members of Zion Lutheran Church in Cornersburg and the Youngstown Saxon Club.
