The engagement and approaching marriage of Ellen Faust and Matthew Gwin, both of Massachusetts, are being announced by the couple’s parents, Mark and Lori Faust of Boardman and Jeff Gwin of Vernon Hills, Ill.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, from where she earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. She works remotely for DNV as a corrosion engineer.

Also a Case Western Reserve University graduate, Mr. Gwin earned a bachelor’s degree in polymer science engineering. He is a research and development engineer for Aspen Aerogels.

The couple will exchange wedding vows at a ceremony to be held on Sept. 1, 2023, in Columbiana. Invitations will be extended.
